Product Information

Sauté pan, 24 cm, made of cast aluminium. The pan has high sides and Bakelite handle and is lined with a 3-layer non-stick inside coating to reduce the risk of food sticking to the pan, and, outside, it has a protective coating to facilitates easy cleaning. A glass lid that fits the pan can be bought separately.
Aluminium is one of the most heat-conducting materials available: It distributes and retains heat evenly and energy-efficiently to both base and sides whilst, at the same time, being a very light material. Cast aluminium can be used on all heat sources – from conventional hotplates over glass-ceramic and induction cooking plates to electric and gas cookers. The products should not be washed in the dishwasher.
If properly maintained, the unique properties of the kitchenware will be retained for decades. Never use scouring powder or sharp-edged objects as this will damage the coating. Always use only hot water, dish-washing liquid and a soft brush for rinsing. The maximum temperature for the non-stick coating is 230 degrees Celsius. If this temperature is exceeded, the coating will break down, and the non-stick effect will gradually disappear.
Also, any kitchen utensils applied should solely be of wood, plastic or silicone.
Never pull or push the product across your cooking plate – instead, you should lift it.
